Driving Range

Open Year Round!

The Driving Range at the Belmont Golf Club features a large practice putting green, sand trap, chipping area and a NEW Driving Range Shelter covering 10 of the 24 hitting stations. Target areas are located throughout the range and are prominently marked.

About the Driving Range Shelter:

The shelter provides an extension to the golf season and keeps golfers more comfortable on hot or cold days and features LED lights, ceiling fans, garage doors, comfortable lounge furniture, and self-service infrared heaters.

As part of the Park District’s green initiatives, 20 solar roof panels were installed to generate energy that will offset the cost of the shelter’s LED lights, infrared heaters and ceiling fans.

Open Hours & Operations

The driving range shelter is open year round, dawn until dusk. During the colder months, the self-service infrared heaters can be operated by using the covered timer controls located along the garage door wall.

Buckets may be purchased directly at the ball dispenser with a credit card at any time. Cash sales take place inside the clubhouse only during the golf season clubhouse hours.

Mats or Grass:
Course staff will determine if golfers may hit from the grass or the driving range mats. Signs are clearly posted each day outside the shelter.

Issues:
For “Link Time Out” messages or if golf balls are not dispensing from the machine, please notify our staff in the Clubhouse. If the Clubhouse is closed, please call the 24-hour Parkline at 630.929.3136 to report an issue.
